Mission Statement:
The Melvin F. and Grace McLean Foundation honors the memory of Mel and Grace through proactive grantmaking to enhance the quality of life for the people of Humboldt County. The Foundation supports projects and organizations that benefit children, youth, the elderly and those in need. This mission is accomplished through active involvement in our local communities through partnerships, collaborations and supporting our local nonprofit sector.
The foundation will fund projects up to a maximum of $25,000, but may consider a larger request based upon the nature of the proejct. We highly encourage requestees to contact foundation staff if considering requesting a larger grant amount.
