Schedule
The Redwoods Rural Board of Directors typically meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month. The meeting is structured to accommodate the personal and professional lives of Redwoods Rural's volunteer Board.
The regular monthly Board meeting begins at 3:15 pm. Board members meet to review the Center's performance and make policy decisions regarding the Center's direction and operations. The Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer make reports to the Board regarding the Health Center's progress. Division Directors' reports are included in the Board packets and make presentations to the Board when requested.
The average meeting time is one and a half hours to two hours. Times and days may change from time to time.

We are looking for new Board Members
RRHC's Board is made up of 9 members (over half must be active RRHC patients), who are the decision-making body for our Health Center. Board members serve 3-year terms and are elected by the general membership of RRHC. Each year we have 3 Board Member vacancies.
What do Board Members do?

Meet monthly (2-2.5 hours per meeting)

Develop Strategic Plan (the direction of our clinic)

Establish General Policies (how we operate day-to-day)

Measure and Evalutate Operational Performance (what is working and where we can improve)

Approve Grant Applications (allowing existing programs to continue and new ones to begin)
